AROVA Refund & Returns Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
At AROVA, we want every purchase to be a positive experience. This Refund & Returns Policy explains when returns, exchanges and refunds may be available for purchases made through the AROVA website.
This policy applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the ACL.
1. Australian Consumer Law
AROVA products come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our products must meet applicable consumer guarantees, including being of acceptable quality, safe, fit for purpose where applicable, and matching their description.
If a product does not meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy depending on the circumstances and the nature of the problem.
Where a product has a major failure, you may generally choose between a refund and replacement.
Where a product has a minor failure, AROVA may choose to repair or otherwise remedy the problem within a reasonable time.
Nothing in this policy limits these statutory rights.
2. Change-of-Mind Returns
AROVA offers a 14-day change-of-mind return period as a voluntary benefit to our customers.
A change-of-mind return means you have simply decided that you no longer want the product, selected the wrong colour or style, ordered the wrong item, or otherwise changed your mind about the purchase.
Change-of-mind returns are not a legal entitlement under the Australian Consumer Law.
To be eligible, all of the following conditions must be satisfied:
- You contact AROVA within 14 calendar days from the date the order was delivered.
- The product has not been used, worn, washed, altered or damaged.
- The product remains in original, resalable condition.
- All original packaging, labels, tags, accessories and included items are returned where applicable.
- The product does not show signs of body contact, dirt, odour, cosmetic damage or other evidence of use.
- You provide reasonable proof of purchase.
- The product is returned to AROVA within the timeframe specified in our return instructions.
AROVA reserves the right to assess the condition of returned products before approving a change-of-mind refund.
If the returned product does not meet these conditions
If a product has been used, worn, damaged, washed, altered or otherwise returned in a condition that is not resalable, AROVA may refuse the change-of-mind return.
Where reasonably appropriate, AROVA may offer to return the product to you at your expense.
This section does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law where a product has a failure covered by a consumer guarantee.
3. Return Shipping for Change-of-Mind Returns
For approved change-of-mind returns:
- The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product to AROVA.
- Original shipping charges are not refundable.
- AROVA is not responsible for products lost or damaged while being returned by the customer.
- We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service and retaining proof of postage.
AROVA will not be responsible for return shipping costs where the return is solely due to a change of mind.
Where the Australian Consumer Law requires AROVA to reimburse reasonable return costs, this section does not apply.
4. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
Please contact AROVA if:
- your product arrives damaged;
- you receive an incorrect product;
- a product has a manufacturing defect;
- a product does not function as reasonably expected; or
- you believe the product does not comply with a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.
Please contact us as soon as reasonably practical and provide:
- your order number;
- a description of the problem; and
- photographs or video showing the issue where reasonably requested.
AROVA may request additional information or ask you to return the product so that the issue can be assessed.
The assessment process does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Damage, Misuse and Normal Wear
AROVA is not responsible for problems caused by:
- accidental damage;
- misuse or unreasonable use;
- failure to follow care or product instructions;
- unauthorised modification or alteration;
- improper cleaning or maintenance;
- exposure to conditions for which the product was not designed; or
- ordinary wear and tear.
This does not exclude any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law where the problem is unrelated to such damage or misuse.
6. Hygiene and Used Products
For hygiene and product-safety reasons, products that have been worn, used, washed or otherwise brought into contact with the body may not be eligible for a change-of-mind return.
This may include, where applicable:
- wearable accessories;
- fitness straps;
- wristbands;
- socks;
- other products intended for direct skin contact.
Any applicable hygiene-related return restriction will be communicated on the relevant product page.
These restrictions do not apply to a valid claim under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Sale and Promotional Products
Sale, discounted and promotional products are still covered by applicable consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
However, unless otherwise stated, change-of-mind returns for sale or promotional products are subject to the same 14-day return period and eligibility requirements set out in this policy.
A discount does not remove a customer's statutory rights.
8. Exchanges
AROVA does not guarantee exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.
Where a customer wishes to change the colour, style or other product selection, AROVA may offer an exchange at its discretion, subject to:
- product availability;
- the 14-day change-of-mind period;
- the product being unused and in resalable condition; and
- payment of any applicable price difference and return shipping costs.
Where a product has a problem covered by the Australian Consumer Law, the applicable statutory remedy will apply.
9. Refunds
Where a change-of-mind return is approved, the refund will generally be issued to the original payment method after AROVA has received and inspected the returned product.
The refund will generally exclude:
- original shipping charges; and
- return shipping costs paid by the customer.
AROVA will not provide a change-of-mind refund until the returned product has been received and assessed.
Where a refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law, AROVA will provide the applicable remedy in accordance with the law.
10. Refund Processing
Once an approved refund has been processed by AROVA, the time for the funds to appear in your account may depend on your payment provider or financial institution.
AROVA is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors or other third-party payment providers.
11. Proof of Purchase
AROVA may request reasonable proof of purchase before processing a return, exchange or refund.
Acceptable proof may include:
- an AROVA order number;
- receipt;
- order confirmation email;
- transaction record; or
- other reasonable evidence showing that the product was purchased from AROVA.
12. Return Authorisation
Please contact AROVA before sending any product back.
Products returned without prior contact may experience delays in processing.
AROVA will provide return instructions where a return is approved or required.
Please do not send products to an address other than the return address provided by AROVA.
13. Products Purchased Through Third Parties
This policy applies to purchases made directly through the AROVA website.
If you purchased an AROVA product through an authorised retailer, marketplace or other third-party seller, you should generally contact the seller from whom you purchased the product.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law remain applicable.
14. Limitation of This Policy
Nothing in this Refund & Returns Policy:
- excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law;
- requires you to accept store credit where you are legally entitled to a refund;
- limits your rights in relation to a major failure; or
- prevents you from exercising any other right or remedy available to you under applicable Australian law.
Where there is any inconsistency between this policy and a mandatory requirement of Australian law, the mandatory legal requirement will apply.
